London, like many big cities, is busy, noisy, crowded, hectic and sometimes it can really feel impersonal. Yet it’s also vibrant, energetic and exciting. A true global capital, one of the most tolerant, multicultural places on the planet and in recent years an emerging hub of wellness.
After finding someone you like, the second hardest thing about dating is finding the right place to meet. Picking the best bar, restaurant, park or whatever floats your boat isn’t easy (and it’s not our area of expertise either). But what we do know about are the places in London that really care that their menus aren’t doing any damage to the environment.
A quick google of the term “wanderlust” will spring up a few different meanings all with the similar theme of longing or desire with the sense of seeing more of the world. One could say it’s the opportunity to expand your horizons and to embark on a journey of discovery.
The nation’s future swings in the balance. Uncertainty looms large. Emotions run high. And still no real news, as to how all of this will pan out. So, what might Mindfulness teaches us about how to navigate such an unsettling mire?
The body carries a lot of knowledge and information, so when you apply mindfulness to the eating experience, you can start to make conscious choices, instead of falling into automatic—and oftentimes emotion-driven—behaviours.
